Collaboration with Democritus University of Thrace

TherapyLab Physiotherapy Clinics works with Democritus University of Thrace on research proposals for European research programmes. One example is our joint submission to the European Union’s Horizon programme in November 2022.

Our ambition is to transform existing physiotherapy clinics into smart-physio clinics, applying the smart-home concept.

Wearables, 5G technologies, social robots and applications will capture vital sign measurements, kinematic measurements and psychometric data for each patient activity. A metaverse linking the smart-physio, smart-doctor and smart-home will give patients, carers, physiotherapists and doctors a complete, real-time picture of progress.
