Stefanos Solonos is a physiotherapist specializing in Sports and Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy. He graduated from the European University Cyprus and holds a Master’s Degree in Exercise Assessment & Prescription from the University of Thessaly. He is certified by the International Federation of Sports Physical Therapy (IFSPT) as a Sports Physiotherapist. He further specialized in Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy in Intensive Care Units (ICU) through postgraduate training at the University of Thessaly. In 2019, he obtained a Diploma in Music Therapy from the Athens Conservatory and treats patients with neurological and respiratory conditions.
He has worked in rehabilitation centers, mainly with individuals experiencing gait difficulties and mobility impairments. For the past three years, he has served as an external collaborator in Intensive Care Units across Cyprus. Since 2021, he has been active in academia as a scientific associate and clinical instructor at the European University Cyprus in the Physiotherapy program. He also runs his own physiotherapy practice in Nicosia, where he provides specialized clinical services.
He has completed training in various prevention and rehabilitation methods, including Clinical Pilates, Gait Evaluation and Training, Strength and Conditioning, Dry Needling, Kinetic Flossing, Ergon IASTM (Myofascial), Respiratory Physiotherapy, and athletic taping techniques. This diverse expertise allows him to design individualized physiotherapy programs, offering comprehensive care tailored to each patient’s needs.
