Paraskevi Bilika is a physiotherapist and PhD candidate in the Department of Physiotherapy at the University of Thessaly, specializing in the management of chronic musculoskeletal pain. She holds a Master’s Degree in Advanced Physiotherapy and has extensive research experience in the assessment and rehabilitation of patients with chronic pain.
She has published scientific papers in international journals, with citations exceeding 300. Her research work has been recognized with awards in Greece and abroad, and she has received a scholarship from the Research, Innovation & Excellence Structure of the University of Thessaly for her doctoral research. Since 2019, she has been a member of the European Pain Federation (EFIC).
In parallel, she is specialized in Clinical Pilates and therapeutic exercise for older adults in fall-prevention programs. Her research interests focus on therapeutic exercise, Clinical Pilates, and the management of chronic pain through emerging technologies such as Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence.
